Ford Focus Lease Information and Deals

The Ford Motor Company has been producing Ford Focus cars since 1998. It is a compact car available in a range of body styles and is currently in its third generation. This third generation model was first launched at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit in 2010 and went on sale around the world in 2011.

The latest model is fitted with a new 2.0-litre direct injection I4 engine, and is available as a hatchback or estate. A new all-electric version called the Ford Focus EV has also been released, which was first shown to the public at the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show.

A wide range of lease offers are available for customers wishing to take home a new Ford Focus car. These offers will cover leases over a range of different time periods, with differing levels of monthly payment. Some offers also include extra incentives to entice you into choosing them, such as cash back offers that can sometimes run to several hundred pounds. These offers vary depending on the region you live in and are also changed and updated regularly, so the best way to get more information about specific deals which are available to you is to either contact a local dealership or use a free online tool to search for current offers which are available to you.

Choosing a lease has several advantages over purchasing a car outright, but obviously it also has disadvantages. Neither way is inherently better – it just depends on your own circumstances and preferences. Leases general come with lower monthly payments than other finance deals, meaning that they can be more affordable to people who do not have a large lump sum put aside for a car purchase and have a limited fixed income. But of course the reason for that is because at the end of the lease you have to give the car back, so you don’t get to keep the value of the used car.

Leases are often popular with company car buyers, but can also be good for private buyers. If you need a good car now, perhaps for a new job which involves a lot of driving, a lease will enable you to afford a good quality car right now much more easily, even though they are not as good from an investment perspective and may make it more difficult for you to upgrade to a better model in the future.
